Timothy Paul Moore hails from the pacific Northwest, is a long time friend and colleague whose photographs never cease to amaze me, and I’m very pleased to have this photographic set on my site.

In an age where digital photography is highly accessible and runs the gamut from professional to camera phone few photographers show their skills are deeply rooted in the principals of traditional photography. Tim does not fall into the category of those who have had no formal training; quite the opposite actually, he’s had extensive training. Nevertheless his aesthetic does not hinge up that formal training, rather it is his foundation for experimentation.
Tim runs one of the most innovative blogs (by the name of Letter to Jane) I have ever seen. Check it out here.
“back in the desert for a wedding and I’ve learned two things so far: 1) I definitely turned into an Oregon kid at some point along the way and 2) I’m extremely jealous of all this sun down here.”
“After breakfast I snapped a couple shots and got to work on them while relaxing on the porch in perfect weather. I’m torn between thoughts of jealousy over all this natural light and missing the rain at the same time.”
