I’m pleased to see fashion designers who pay little attention to contemporary trends, such is the posture of Kate and Laura Mulleavy the sister duo and brain-trust behind Rodarte. In their Fall 2010 collection one can observe a deep and intricately woven story behind each garment. In the fashion industry their is the commercial side and the creative design side, rarely do the two mix; I think this collection is evident of that…can you imagine hoards of people lining up to buy/wear these looks (doubtfull) nonetheless this line is extraordinary for its vision and creativity.
