More Coachella 2010 updates all week! I have to say, this was one of the more entertaining shows I had the pleasure of seeing. Matt and Kim, the duo from Brooklyn, New York, really know how to turn a party out. It was a blazing hot afternoon, the shade provided by the tent only served to incubate the warmth generated from a million steaming fans jumping and wailing to Terror Squad’s Lean Back as Matt and Kim stepped on stage. They had me at hello, errr, “Where Brooklyn at?” and after that they could have recited beatnik poetry for all I cared the energy had all ready been delivered and it wasn’t coming down anytime soon. Blammo! enjoy!
I’ve got soooo much media to upload and organize from my Coachella excursion. As you may well know Flying Lotus is one of my favorite artist right now (see “tag cloud”). I got the chance to catch his show at Coachella…two weeks ago now, and, needless to say it bassy, raucous, loud, and absolutely fucking amazing. That being said, with so many ridiculously good musicians jam-packed into one weekend, I don’t even think FlyLo was my favorite show. It should be said the homey Gaslamp Killer (Low End Theory resident DJ) shared the stage and enjoys a call out in the video from the maestro). Enjoy!
“Hellz Hath No Fury” represents Hellz as a dominant individual taking charge, and standing tall in an industry that involves a heavy does of dog-eat-dog mentality and boundless confidence. It’s undeniable that Hellz has evolved it’s design and matured it’s persona, but as always Hellz continues to celebrate the values of strong headed ladies in generation ‘Y’, and cater to the fiercest of them all. Hellz Hath No Fury, follow nobody, and take charge.

‘When I Take A Step Back’ is Joya’s lead single off of the ‘Hard Melk’ album which I hugely recommend that you go out & buy (it is worth it trust me) OR at least listen to it HERE!!!

Being a big fan of both Big L and J Dilla, I spotted this awesome new video earlier today and had to post it. It is a visual version of Dilla’s remix of Big L’s “Put It On” video, and was found over at Okayplayer. Ralph McDaniels synced the original video to match the remix. This version is also appears on DJ Soul’s Assorted Donuts mixtape…R.I.P. to two of Hip-Hop’s best, J. Dilla and Big L….enjoy…
